Mahavir Electronics & Furniture Bibwewadi

Our shop is at Plot 10 in Shanti Niwas, which is right across from the post office in Parshwanath Nagar. Being in Bibvewadi means we have a lot of local people coming by throughout the day. The shop itself is quite packed because we try to keep a bit of everything in stock. You’ll see sofas and chairs mixed in with various electronic items. It makes for a bit of a maze, but we know where every single piece is. Every morning, we spend time wiping down the surfaces and making sure the displays are tidy. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when we have to move heavy furniture around. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People mostly find out about us by walking past or because their neighbors told them about our spot. The post office across the way is a busy place, so we see a lot of people going in and out all day. We have a small area in the back where we keep our tools and spare parts. Sometimes we sit there and have our tea while the rain comes down outside. It’s a comfortable place to work. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just show people what we have and let them decide for themselves. When the day is done, we pull down the shutters and walk home through the neighborhood. It’s a tiring job but we like the routine.
