Our shop is located at S No 365 in the Yasho Rama Complex. We are right across from Islampura in the Nana Peth area. Anyone who knows cars or bikes knows Nana Peth. It is the heart of the auto parts world around here. The street is always oily and there is a smell of grease and rubber everywhere. Our shelves are full of spare parts for all kinds of vehicles. We have things in boxes and some things just hanging on hooks. It gets quite dusty because of all the traffic on the main road outside. We spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. When a customer comes in, they usually have a dirty part in their hand and they want a new one just like it. We spend a lot of time looking through catalogs or searching our back shelves. My hands are almost always stained with a bit of grease that won't come off. The complex itself is quite old and the walls could use a bit of paint, but it doesn't matter much for an auto shop. We have a small radio that plays the news while we work. It is a noisy place with horns honking and people haggling outside. We just sit here among the gears and wires and help people get their vehicles back on the road. That is our daily life in the complex.
