You can find Maharashtra Industries over at number 941, right near where Budhwar Peth and Shukrawar Peth meet. We are located at the 2nd Cross on 38th Main. This is a very old part of the city where the lanes are quite narrow and all the shops are packed tightly together. We handle a variety of industrial supplies and do some small manufacturing work on site. The building we are in is quite old and features those high ceilings that help keep the heat down during the summer months. We have been in this location for a long time, and the concrete floor is worn smooth from years of moving heavy boxes around. It is a noisy place with all the other shops nearby, but we really do not mind the commotion. We have a small staff of people, most of whom have been working with us for many years. There is not much space for a fancy showroom, so most of our inventory is just piled up wherever we can find a spot for it. We still use a lot of handwritten ledgers for our daily notes, even though we have a computer now. It just feels more reliable to have it on paper sometimes. Dealing with the traffic at the 2nd Cross can be a real headache for our deliveries, but we always manage to get things through. People come to us when they need specific parts.
