Maharaja Lodge

Maharaja Lodge is located right in the middle of Somwar Peth, specifically at 20/1 Lokmanya Nagar. It is very close to the Apollo Theatre, so you might have seen us if you've been to a show there lately. We started this place to give people a spot to stay when they have business in the city or are just passing through Pune. It is not a luxury hotel with a swimming pool or anything like that. It’s just a lodge with basic rooms for people who need a bed for the night. We keep things quiet and try to make sure everything is clean enough for a good rest. Being in an older part of the city like Somwar Peth means the streets are a bit narrow and things can be quite active during the day. We get all kinds of travelers staying with us, from workers to small families visiting relatives nearby. The building has been here for a while, and we try our best to keep up with the maintenance ourselves. You won't find any fancy reception desks or uniformed bellboys here. It is just a practical place to put your bags down. We don’t really do any marketing because the location near the theater usually brings enough people our way. It’s just a small, local business run by people who know the neighborhood well. We are just here to provide a room when you need it.
