Our furniture shop is on the main road in Thergaon, specifically in the Jay Malhar building in Kalewadi. You’ll probably smell the wood polish before you even see us. We’ve got sofas, tables, and chairs crammed into every corner of the space. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we get new stock in. We’ve been here for a good few years now, and we’ve seen the main road get busier and busier. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy cupboards and wardrobes around to show people. We don't have a fancy delivery truck, just a guy we call when someone buys something big. Most of the stuff we have is just practical things for a regular home. We aren't trying to sell high-end designer pieces, just furniture that lasts. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. It’s a family business, so you’ll usually find one of us sitting near the entrance. We don't have a big marketing plan; we just try to be helpful when someone walks in. If the piece isn't right, we’ll tell you. We like the local feel of Kalewadi and the people who live around here. It’s a simple way to earn a living, surrounded by the smell of sawdust and varnish. We try to keep the shop open as much as we can because we know people work late and might stop by.
