Maersk Line Shipping Company

We are the local branch for Maersk Line Shipping Company in Pune. You can find us at 219, D-6 in the Shanti Rakshak Society, which is part of the Maharashtra Housing Board in Yerwada. The office is looked after by Mohd. Shahbaz and Mohd. Musharraf. It’s not your typical downtown corporate building. We are based right in the housing society, which makes it feel a bit more like a local neighborhood business. We handle a lot of the shipping and container logistics for this area. Yerwada is usually quite busy, so there is always a lot of movement around us. We spend most of our day coordinating with drivers and checking on the status of various shipments. It’s a lot of work on the computer and many phone calls throughout the day and night. We don't have a big fancy lobby or any of those corporate perks. It’s just a functional space where we get things done. Shipping is a tough business because things are always changing, but we just try to keep up with it. We’ve been here for a good while and we know the area well. We don't have any scripted mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the containers are moving. It’s a lot of practical, everyday work for us.
