Maersk Global Service Centre (Pune) Pvt. Ltd. operates out of a small space at Flat No. 11 in the Kaustubh Apartments. We are situated on Lane No. 4, right opposite Santosh Hall in the Anand Nagar area of Sinhagad Road. It’s a pretty well-known spot in Pune, and most people use Santosh Hall as the landmark to find us. Despite the long name, our day-to-day life here is very grounded. We deal with various service tasks that help the larger shipping world keep moving, but from this apartment, it feels much more local. The Sinhagad Road traffic is something we deal with every morning and evening, like everyone else in this part of town. The office itself is just a regular flat converted into a workspace. It’s got a kitchen where we make tea and a few rooms where the computers are set up. We aren't doing any big sales pitches here; we are just handling the back-end support that people usually don't see. It can get a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The area around Anand Nagar is full of shops and little eateries, so there’s always somewhere to grab a quick snack during a break. We’ve been here for a while and the rhythm of the neighborhood feels like home. It’s just a bunch of us doing our jobs in a quiet corner of Pune.
