Madan Micrometal & Cast

We’ve been here at 27/28 Parvati on Dabhoi Road for quite some time now. If you pass by the Aadinath Society, you’ll see our place right across from it. It’s mostly just us working with metal and doing the casting work that needs to get done. The shop floor gets pretty warm, especially during the afternoons when the machines are all running at once. We handle a lot of micrometal stuff, which basically means small parts that require a bit of patience. It isn't always pretty work, and our hands are usually covered in grease or dust by the time lunch rolls around. We just get on with it. There’s a routine to it. Someone opens up the shutters early, we check what orders came in, and then we start the casting process. It’s a lot of physical labor. The road outside stays busy with traffic, so there’s always noise. Sometimes we have to shout over the sound of the machines to hear each other. We’ve known the neighbors for years. It’s a simple setup really. No fancy office or anything like that, just the workshop and the tools we need to finish the jobs. Most of the people who come here are looking for specific metal pieces for their own projects. We don’t do much talking, mostly just focused on the metal. It’s just how things go at Madan Micrometal & Cast.
