M S Tata Motors is located right over in Laxmi Nagar, which is Plot No-37 if you’re looking at the map. We’re tucked in near Joshi Colony here in Jalgaon. It’s a busy part of town, lots of dust and noise from the road, but that's where the cars are. Most people know us because we’ve been around the 425001 area for some time. We aren’t some big flashy showroom with glass walls you can’t touch. It’s a practical place where we look at engines and help people figure out what’s wrong with their trucks or cars. The sun gets pretty intense in Jalgaon during May, so the office is usually the only place to catch a breeze. We have a few guys out back who really know their way around a chassis. Sometimes we run out of parts and have to wait for the delivery, which can be a pain, but we tell it like it is. We don't use big words to explain why a gear is slipping. It’s just work. Neighbors from the colony drop by just to chat sometimes while their vehicle gets checked. We keep a few plastic chairs out front. It’s not fancy, but we get the job done. Working with motors means greasy hands and long hours, especially when there’s a backlog. We just try to keep things moving so people can get back on the road. It’s just a normal day for us here in Laxmi Nagar.
