M S Tata Auto Comp Systems Limited Interiors & Plastic Division

Our facility is located out in Hinjewadi, which everyone knows is the busy part of Pune these days. We are specifically at Survey Numbers 235 and 245 in the village area of Taluka Mulshi. It’s a big site because we handle the interiors and plastic parts here. It’s a noisy place with machines running most of the time, and there’s always a lot of movement at the gates. We have a lot of people working shifts, so the place never really sleeps. It’s not like those fancy IT offices nearby with their glass buildings and cafes. Our place is a factory through and through. There are stacks of plastic components and molds everywhere you look. The floor is concrete and the ceilings are high. We focus on getting the production numbers right and making sure the parts are loaded onto the trucks on time. Sometimes the traffic in Hinjewadi makes it hard for the staff to get in, but we manage. We don’t spend much time on fancy office decor. The supervisors have small desks right near the lines so they can see what’s going on. It’s a gritty, hard-working environment. We just show up, do our shifts, and make sure the division is producing what it’s supposed to. It’s practical work for real people, and that’s how we like it here at the IPD unit.
