We are located at number 62 in Sangeetha Market, which is right in the middle of Budhwar Peth. If you know this area, you know how busy it gets with all the narrow lanes and people moving about. Our shop has been here for a while now. Every morning starts pretty much the same way. We unlock the heavy metal shutters and sweep the floor before the first few people start showing up. The market has a specific rhythm to it that never really changes. Some days it is very hot outside and we just sit under the fan waiting for the afternoon to pass. We handle our daily work here without much fuss. There are stacks of items everywhere and we try to keep things in some kind of order, even if it does not always look like it to a stranger. People stop by to talk or ask for things they need. We have gotten used to the noise of the traffic nearby. It is just a regular place where we do our business and go home at the end of the day. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to move everything back from the door. It is not a fancy setup but it works for what we do. We have known the other shop owners around Sangeetha Market for years. We just keep our heads down and get the work done as it comes.
