M B Chitle Construction, Pune

You can find us over at Flat No. 6 in the Ganesh Gayatri Complex. That's at 291-Somwar Peth in Pune. We’ve been working out of this office for a bit now. M B Chitle Construction isn't some massive corporation with hundreds of offices; we’re just right here in Somwar Peth. It’s a bit of an older neighborhood, which we like because it feels more like real Pune to us. Dealing with construction means we’re usually out at sites more than we are sitting at our desks, but this is where the planning and the paperwork happen. The complex is pretty easy to find once you get onto the main road. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much if you're carrying heavy blueprints, but it’s home for us. We do the kind of work where you have to be hands-on, so we spend a lot of time talking to masons and suppliers. It’s not always pretty, and there’s always some delay or another with weather or materials, but we just work through it as best as we can. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or anything. Usually, you just knock on the door and one of us will look up from a drawing. It’s a simple setup for people who like to build things. We just try to keep the projects moving and make sure the buildings stand up straight and look like they’re supposed to.
