Lumax Ind Pune is tucked away in Nigdi, specifically in Rupee Nagar. Our spot is at N.A. Garud’s place in Shayognagar. It is actually right behind the Swami Vivekanand School. You can usually hear the school bell and the kids playing during recess, which is a nice break from the silence of the office. Rupee Nagar is a busy residential area, so there is always something happening on the street. We have got a pretty basic setup here. It is not one of those high-tech offices in the IT parks. We prefer it this way because it is closer to where we live. Managing things from Shayognagar is straightforward. We deal with whatever comes our way, mostly focusing on the local industry needs. The address is 412114 if you are checking the mail. It is a bit of a maze to get back here if you don't know the turns, but once you find the school, you are basically there. We have got our desks and our files, and that is about it. Some of us have been around here for years. We know the local tea stalls and where to get a quick snack. It is a very local way of working. We do not worry too much about looking like a big company. We just want to make sure the work gets done and the people we deal with are happy with the progress. It is simple and it works for us.
