Century Plyboards is located here in Lullanagar. It’s a place that stays pretty busy with the movement of heavy sheets of plywood and boards. If you come by, you’ll see that the space is designed more for storage and moving goods than for looking pretty. There is always that distinct smell of wood and glue in the air, which you get used to after a while. We have workers moving things around most of the day, so there is a lot of noise from the loaders and the trucks. Lullanagar is a decent area, and being here makes it easy for us to reach different parts of the city for deliveries. Our office part is just a small corner partitioned off from the main warehouse area. It’s where we keep the ledger and handle the orders that come in. We don't really have a big team of sales people in suits; it’s mostly just folks who know their wood and can tell the difference between different grades of ply just by looking at the edges. The floor is usually covered in a bit of sawdust no matter how much we sweep it. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool and try to get the heavy loading done before it gets too hot. It’s straightforward work. We take the orders, load the boards, and send them out. There isn't much more to it than that. We just focus on keeping the stock organized so we don't lose track.
