Our place is over in Dapodi. Lucas Indian Service Ltd has been operating out of this spot for a while. Dapodi is a bit of a trek depending on where you're coming from, but it's where we set up. The workshop or office, whatever you want to call it, stays pretty busy. We have a lot of tools and parts lying around because that's just the nature of the work. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we know where everything is. Some of the guys have been here for years and they know the regulars by name. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or anything. The building is just a standard Dapodi structure. You come in, tell us what’s wrong or what you need, and we see what can be done. It’s practical. Sometimes the phones ring too much and we can't get to them all, but we try. Lucas Indian Service Ltd isn't some giant corporate tower, just a functional space. We take breaks when there’s a gap in the work. The tea stall nearby is where most of us end up in the afternoon. It’s just how things go here. We don't have a big speech about what we do.
