Lotus Tapes (India) P Ltd. is located out at S. No. 300 in Ambadvet. We are situated right behind the Datta Temple in the Mulshi Taluka, near Paud. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s a lot quieter than being in the middle of a big city. Our work is all about adhesive tapes. We have rolls of different sizes and types all over the place. The smell of glue and plastic is something you just get used to after a few days of working here. Being behind the temple gives the place a bit of a calm feeling, though the factory side of things can get pretty loud when the machines are running. We spend a lot of time monitoring the production and making sure the tape is cutting and sticking correctly. The weather in Mulshi can be quite something, especially during the monsoon when it pours down and everything gets very green around the building. We aren't a high-rise office; we are a practical industrial site where the focus is on the product. Sometimes the roads can be a bit rough, but we manage to get our shipments out on time. It’s a straightforward business where we just focus on making good tape and keeping the operations running smoothly. Most of us live nearby or in the surrounding villages, so it feels like a very local operation despite the company name.
