We are set up at Bhose Chincholi Bunder, M/5, which is Loreal India Pvt Ltd. This area is quite industrial and busy with trucks coming and going all the time. Our building is a standard setup, nothing too special to look at from the street. Inside, it’s mostly about logistics and managing the stock that comes through the Bunder. The humidity from being near the water can be a bit much, especially during the monsoon season. We spend a lot of time checking the climate control because the products can’t get too hot. It’s a lot of paperwork and scanning barcodes. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we have a generator that kicks in with a loud roar. We’ve got a small crew here, and we’ve all worked together for a good while. There’s no corporate talk or big speeches here, just the daily routine of unloading and loading. We have a small room where we eat our lunch, usually whatever we brought from home. The desks are a bit old and the chairs squeak, but they do the job. It’s a practical environment where the focus is just on moving boxes and keeping the records straight. We stay busy enough that the day usually goes by pretty fast. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people doing their jobs.
