We are located in Pune, specifically at Flat No 8 in Shree Datta Palace. This is over in Ghule Nagar, which is part of the Vadgaon Budruk area off Sinhagad Road. Being in a residential building means it feels a bit more like a home than a stiff office. We are involved with Lokmat Newspapers, so there is always a sense of urgency and things moving fast. Even though we are in a quiet society, the work itself is anything but quiet. We have papers, notebooks, and laptops everywhere you look. Sinhagad Road is usually packed with traffic, so we’ve learned to plan our movements carefully. Sometimes we stay late into the evening when there is a big story or a deadline looming over us. It’s just the nature of the newspaper business. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. You just come up the stairs and you’re in the middle of our workspace. It gets a bit messy with all the printouts, but we know where everything is. The neighbors in Shree Datta Palace are mostly families, so we try not to be too loud during the odd hours. It’s a decent place to work, and being in Maharashtra gives us plenty of local news to keep us busy every single day. We just focus on the facts and getting the news out on time.
