You can find us on the first floor of Highway Towers. It’s a pretty easy building to spot if you’re driving around Pune 411049. Links International has been operating from this office for a good bit of time now. The space isn't huge, but it fits us well enough. Most days are spent looking at screens and talking on the phone. We deal with international stuff, which means sometimes we are working when others are sleeping because of the time differences. It gets a bit quiet in the afternoons here, then picks up again late in the evening. There’s a tea stall downstairs where we usually grab a break. The traffic on the highway can be loud if the windows are open, so we mostly keep them shut. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation with hundreds of people. It’s just a small group of us trying to keep things moving smoothly. Sometimes mistakes happen, a paper gets filed wrong or a call gets dropped, but we just fix it and move on. That’s just how business goes. It’s not always exciting. A lot of it is just routine work that needs to be done right. We’ve got some old chairs and a coffee machine that’s seen better days, but it works. People come by for meetings once in a while, though most of our work happens through emails these days. It’s a steady life here in the towers.
