The Lilawati Environment And Agriculture Foundation is located on Bhandarkar Road. We are in Flat number one on Plot 187/1/2. It’s a busy road with a lot of shops and people moving around, but our office stays relatively quiet once you step inside. We focus a lot on things related to the land and the environment, so you might see some soil samples or seed packets lying around on the desks. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of our time talking to farmers or people interested in gardening. Our team is small, just a few of us who enjoy being around plants and nature. The office is on the ground floor, which is convenient because we are always carrying things in and out. We’ve got some old wooden chairs that are surprisingly comfortable and a big table where we spread out our maps and plans. We don't use much fancy technology, just the basics to get the job done. The walls have some old photos of fields and trees that we’ve worked with over the years. It’s a simple, grounded way to spend our days. We aren't trying to be a big corporate entity. We just want to do our part for the earth and the local agriculture scene in a way that feels real and honest.
