We are located up in Lonavala, right near the Tulsi Sadhna Kutir on the Old Khandala Road. If you know the area, you know how beautiful it gets when the clouds roll in over the hills during the monsoon. Of course, all that rain also means we have to be extra careful with our work. Our place isn't big at all. It’s just a practical space where we store our materials and keep our records organized. Being in a town like Lonavala is a lot different from being in the big cities. Things move a bit slower here, but we still have plenty of tasks to keep us busy every day. We spend a lot of our time out on various sites, so the office is often quiet during the middle of the day. When we are all back here together, it's usually to figure out the next day's plan. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls. Mostly it's just some calendars and notes pinned up everywhere. The dampness in the air is something we always have to think about, given the kind of work we do. We’ve got a few local guys who know every backroad and shortcut around Khandala. Sometimes we take a quick break and just look at the mountain view for a minute. It’s a good place to work, even if the fog gets thick enough that you can't see the road. We just keep our heads down.
