Lexis Universal Foundation

Lexis Universal Foundation is located at 191A in Nishidha Society, over in the Bibvewadi area near Marketyard. It's a busy part of town, so being tucked away in a society helps us get things done without too much noise. We’ve been based here for a while now. The space is basically just a regular office where a few of us sit and handle the day-to-day tasks. We aren't doing anything flashy. Most of the time, we’re just replying to letters or organizing bits and pieces for the local community. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the files, but it works for us. Living and working around Marketyard means we see a lot of different people every day. We decided to start this because we felt there was room for another helping hand in this part of Pune. It’s not some big international operation, despite the name sounding a bit broad. We are just local people. We keep our doors open for anyone from the society or the surrounding streets who needs a bit of guidance or just wants to talk about local issues. The desks are a bit old and the tea is usually cold by the time we drink it, but that's just how it goes when you're busy. We try to stay grounded and focus on the practical side of things instead of worrying about big titles or fancy branding. Being in a residential society means we have to be respectful of our neighbors, so we don't have loud meetings.
