We are located at 66/2, D-Ii Midc Area in Chinchwad. Lensel Optics Pvt Ltd is basically just a group of us working in this industrial zone. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we have our setup inside for all the lens work. Chinchwad is quite busy with all the manufacturing units around, so the roads are usually packed. Inside our unit, things are a bit more quiet because we have to focus on the small details. We have machines for grinding and polishing, and they run pretty much all day long. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them on the fly. It's not a corporate office with fancy rugs; it's a workspace with tools and glass everywhere. We keep our records in some old filing cabinets and try to stay organized as much as possible. A lot of our time is spent checking pieces under the light to make sure they aren't scratched. It can be tedious, but it’s what we do. We eat lunch together in the small break area and then get back to the benches. It's just a steady routine of making things and getting them ready to be sent out. We don't use a lot of fancy words for what we do, we just make lenses and parts until it is time to go.
