Leelai Pet Care Clinic

This clinic is at Shop 13 on Alandi Road here in Vishrantwadi. It's been sitting in this same spot for quite a bit now. We spend most of our mornings dealing with dogs that don’t want to come inside and cats that are hiding in their carriers. The shop isn't huge but it fits what we need for the animals. Vishrantwadi gets pretty crowded especially during the rush hours so the noise from the road usually drifts in through the front door. We have some old chairs in the waiting area that have seen better days but they work fine for the owners. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three or four people show up at the same time with their pets. We just try to get through the appointments one by one. There is a small tea stall nearby where we usually get our afternoon snacks. Most people around here know where we are because of the sign out front. It’s not a fancy medical center or anything like that. Just a regular place where we look after the local pets. We have some shelves with medicines and stuff tucked in the back. The floors need a good scrub every evening because of the muddy paws. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy throughout the week. We see the same faces from the neighborhood all the time. Our door is usually open to let in some air even if it brings in the dust from the road.
