Laxmi Springs

Our shop is over at Shop No. 14/2 in the Garware Building. We are situated right in the Bhosari Industrial Estate, which is part of the larger Anand Nagar Industrial estate. If you know the industrial zones around here, you know it’s a place where things are actually made. At Laxmi Springs, we focus on making all kinds of springs for different uses. It’s a small operation, really. We have a few machines that do the winding and the cutting. The floor is usually covered in little bits of wire and metal shavings by the end of the shift. We’ve been here for a long time, and we’ve seen the industrial estate change and grow around us. We don’t have a big marketing department or a website with lots of bells and whistles. Most of our work comes from other businesses nearby who need a few hundred springs for their own products. Sometimes someone just walks in needing one single spring for a repair at home, and we help them out too. It’s noisy and a bit dark inside the shop, but we like it that way. It’s a place of work, not a showroom. We keep our prices fair and we try to be honest about how long a job will take. That’s how we’ve stayed in business all these years in Bhosari. We’re just local makers doing our thing every day in the industrial belt.
