L&T Ecc Division has a presence in Pune, specifically over in Karve Nagar. Mr. Vikas Kashinathpadher runs things from the office at Adumber Colony A. It’s located on Sno. 15/7/18A, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the local lanes. The office itself is quite simple and tucked away in a residential pocket. We like it that way because it's quieter than being right on the main highway. Pune is a city that is constantly under construction, so there is always some project or another that needs our attention. Our team spends a lot of time looking at site maps and managing the local labor force. It isn't a high-pressure corporate environment in terms of looks, but we definitely stay busy. The walls are covered in project charts and there is usually a pot of tea going somewhere. We don't put much effort into sounding professional on paper; we just focus on making sure the engineering work is solid. The Karve Nagar location works well for us because it’s central enough to reach various sites quickly. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s just a regular workplace where people put in their hours and try to get things built right. No fancy speeches or big promises, just day-to-day construction management for the stuff happening around Pune.
