Lalita Gopaldas Gupta Foundation

We are over here at Clover Belvedere in Sopan Baug. It’s a quiet area mostly, away from the main noise of the city. Lalita Gopaldas Gupta Foundation is just a small setup we run from the flat in Building I. Mostly we just get together and handle things as they come up. It's not a big office with fancy desks or anything like that. My family started this because we wanted to do something useful in the neighborhood and beyond. Sometimes the traffic in Ghorpadi gets a bit much but we are usually here during the day. We don't really have a big team of people. It’s just us. We deal with various bits of work that need doing around here. People often ask what exactly we do and it’s hard to sum up in one word because we just try to help out where there is a gap. The building is easy to find if you know the landmark near the 2A/2/2S area. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just organizing papers. It's a lot of manual work actually. Not everything is digitized yet. We like it that way because it feels more personal. You won't find us running huge ads or anything. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever project is currently on the desk. Sometimes it's helping someone with paperwork or just sorting out local issues. We've been here for a bit now and the neighbors know us.
