Lakshya Cancer Hospital

You can find us up on the second floor at the Kalawadi Phate Junction in Wakad. Being at number 219 means we see a lot of the traffic moving through the junction all day. Lakshya Cancer Hospital is a place where we do a lot of heavy lifting. Dealing with cancer isn't easy for anyone, and we see that every day when families walk through our doors. It’s a lot of long hours and quiet conversations in the hallways. We aren't a massive chain hospital with hundreds of beds. We’re smaller, which means we know the names of the people coming in for their appointments. The stairs can be a bit much if you aren't feeling well, but there is an elevator that works most of the time. It stays busy around here because Wakad is growing so fast lately. Sometimes the noise from the junction drifts up into the rooms, but we’re used to it. We just try to get the work done and help folks understand what’s going on with their health. There isn't any fancy lobby art or expensive furniture. We just have the rooms and the equipment we need to do the job. People come from all over this side of town because the junction is easy to reach by bus or car. We keep the lights on and keep working through the cases as they come. It's just what we do here day in and day out.
