Out in Ubale Nagar, Wagholi, you can find our site at Survey No.-1283. We are located right on Chokhi Dhani Road, which is a fairly well-known stretch. If you go behind the Dhole Patil Engineering College, you will see where we operate. Even though the name Lafarge Aggregates & Concrete India Pvt. Ltd. sounds like a lot, we are just a bunch of guys working with stone and concrete. The yard is massive and there is always a layer of dust on everything. We spend our days sorting through aggregates and getting the concrete mixes ready. It's a very noisy environment with the crushers and the trucks constantly on the move. Being near the college means we see a lot of students passing by on the main road. The weather in Wagholi can be quite harsh, either very dusty or very muddy when it rains. We don't have a polished office; it’s more about the work happening out in the field. We handle a lot of big loads for projects all over the area. It's hard work and the hours can be long depending on the schedule. We just keep the machinery running and make sure the piles of stone are where they need to be. It’s a straightforward job, nothing more, nothing less. We have been here for a while and we know how the local conditions affect the concrete. It’s just daily labor for us. We just make sure the trucks get filled and sent out.
