Kutumb Aarogya Foundation. Our office is in the Jaimalhar Society, specifically RM-17 in the G Block of Sambhajinagar. It’s out in the Chinchwad area of Pune. If you know the neighborhood, it’s a pretty quiet residential spot. We like it that way because it makes people feel more comfortable when they come to see us. The foundation focuses a lot on health issues because that's what seems to be needed most around here. We aren't doctors ourselves, but we try to help people navigate the system. The office is small, just a couple of rooms with some chairs and a desk. We spend a lot of time on the phone or walking around the society talking to residents. Pune is a big city, but Chinchwad feels like its own little world sometimes. We’ve been here for a while now, and most of the neighbors know what we do. We don't have a big budget, so we fix things ourselves when they break. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated plans. We just take things one day at a time and try to help whoever walks in. It’s not always easy, but it’s the work we chose to do here in 411019. We are just a small group of people trying to be useful to our local community every day. It isn't anything fancy, just our contribution to making sure everyone stays a bit healthier.
