Kushal Electricals

Kushal Electricals is situated over at 458/2 Sadashiv Peth, right on the 1st Main at the 9th Cross in Chitrakuti. We’re pretty easy to find if you’re near the Water Loo landmark, which most locals use to navigate. The shop is usually cluttered with coils of wire, switches, and all sorts of electrical components that people need. It’s a busy neighborhood and we get a lot of people dropping in for small things they need for their homes or shops. We spend a lot of time testing light bulbs or cutting specific lengths of wire for customers who come in. It’s not a big corporate store, just a regular shop where we know a lot of the regulars by their names. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic inside with boxes stacked everywhere, especially when a new shipment arrives and we haven't had time to put it away. The 9th Cross is a narrow enough street that parking can be a bit of a headache for everyone, but people manage to squeeze in. We’ve been around Sadashiv Peth for a while and have seen many other shops come and go over the years. We just keep doing what we do, selling parts and giving a bit of simple advice on how to fix a basic connection if someone asks us. It’s mostly a lot of standing and talking to people throughout the day. The shop doesn't have air conditioning, so it gets quite warm in the summer, but we keep the ceiling fans going. It’s a simple life and we’re happy to be part of this community.
