People usually find us by looking for the Kumar Picasso landmark. We are tucked away in Sai Sankalp CHSL on the fourth floor, unit 404. Hadapsar is a busy place, but DP Road has its own flow. Our team sits in this flat where the sunlight comes in through the balcony every morning. It’s a regular space, nothing too special to look at, but it works for what we do here. We set up Kushaagra Innovations Foundation in this apartment because it was available and near where most of us live. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything. Most days, it is just us at our desks, talking over tea and trying to figure out the next steps for our projects. It gets a bit loud outside with the traffic, yet it feels right being in the middle of everything in Pune. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we just take the stairs to the fourth floor. Neighbors are nice enough. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and papers. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we end up talking about work more than we probably should. It isn’t a corporate setup. It is just a bunch of people in an apartment trying to make sense of new ideas. We have been at this for a while now.
