We’ve been running the shop here at G-1479 in Laxmi Chowk for quite a few years now. If you ever drive down the Hyderabad Road in Solapur, you’ve probably passed right by us without thinking much of it. The office is tucked into the Vd Gharkul area, which stays pretty busy most of the day. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular room with some old desks, a few plastic chairs for when people come to visit, and a ceiling fan that makes a clicking sound when it’s on high. Working in construction and real estate in Solapur means you get used to the heat and the dust. There’s always a bit of sand on the floor from someone coming in from a site. We spend our mornings checking on things and the afternoons dealing with all the paperwork that comes with builders’ work. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. We aren't a huge company with hundreds of people, just a local team trying to keep things moving. We know the neighbors around Laxmi Chowk well and usually get our tea from the same stall every morning. It gets messy with all the blueprints and maps spread out, but we know where everything is. People stop by to ask about plots or just to see how a project is going. It’s just how we do things here in our corner of Solapur.
