Flat No.201, Runwal Shaarvari, Adj.Tallwalkar Gym. Kulkarni Power Tools Ltd is based out of this apartment-style space. It’s a bit unusual being right next to a gym like Tallwalkar’s. We hear the music from their aerobics classes sometimes through the walls. It’s a strange background noise for an office. The building, Runwal Shaarvari, is tucked away enough that it isn't too loud from the main road traffic. We are up on the second floor in Flat 201. It’s mostly just desks and shelves piled high with papers and manuals. We don't have a big showroom or anything. It feels more like a home that turned into an office over time. The kitchen area is where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for the afternoon. Sometimes the lift is out of order, so we have to take the stairs, which isn't great when you're carrying heavy stuff back and forth. The lighting isn't the best, so we have a few extra floor lamps around the desks to help us see. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when everyone is in at the same time. We have a small balcony where someone usually goes to take a call or just get a bit of air. It’s a simple setup for the kind of work we do every day. We don't try to make it look like something it's not. It is just our home base and it serves its purpose. We keep a few tools on the shelves just to keep things organized.
