Our spot is in Pune, at the Siddart Nager Phase-1 area. We work out of Flat No-10 in Building 6C4. It’s a residential setup because that’s the kind of work we know best. Developing land and buildings in Maharashtra has become a lot more complicated over the years with all the new paperwork, but we manage to stay on top of it. Being in a flat instead of a big glass office tower keeps our costs down and lets us stay close to where the actual living happens. Pune is growing so fast that it feels like there is a new project on every corner. We focus on getting the basics right, like making sure the foundations are solid and the layout makes sense for a regular family. It’s not always smooth sailing. Sometimes the labor doesn’t show up or the materials price goes up overnight. We just deal with those things as they come. Our team is small and we do a bit of everything, from visiting the site to sitting through meetings with the local authorities. We don’t go around making big promises. We just tell people what we can do and then we try to get it done on time. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes we get a bit tired of the constant dust and noise, but that’s the business we chose to be in.
