Kriya Fasteners

Our business is located at 813 Chikhali Road. It’s an industrial sort of area, which makes sense because we deal with fasteners like bolts, nuts, and screws all day long. The building is more of a warehouse than an office. We have rows of metal shelving reaching up to the ceiling, all filled with heavy boxes. The floor is concrete and has some stains from years of moving stock around. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We mostly wear work clothes that can get a bit dirty. The air usually smells like cold metal. We have a small area near the front with a desk and a phone where we take orders. Most of our day is spent climbing ladders to pull stock or packing boxes for delivery. Chikhali Road can be quite dusty with all the trucks passing by, so we have to wipe down the counters pretty often. It’s loud, heavy work. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people just know we are here and give us a call when they run out of supplies. We use a manual weighing scale for the smaller items. It’s been here since we started and it hasn't let us down yet. When the shutters go down at the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired, but it’s a good kind of tired.
