Krishnakumar Goyal Foundation

We are located in the ICC Trade Towers on Senapati Bapat Road, right in the heart of Pune. Even though the building is one of those big, professional-looking places, our office at A-102 feels a bit more lived-in. We have been here for a while, and the foundation is named after Krishnakumar Goyal. It’s a busy office. There is always someone typing away or on a call. S.B. Road is always buzzing, and you can hear the city outside the windows if they aren't shut tight. We aren't here to put on a show. We just use this space to manage everything the foundation does. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in running things, and our desks usually show it. We have a small pantry where we make coffee and tea, which is where most of our real planning happens. It’s a mix of younger staff and some older folks who have been around for years. We don't really go for those fancy mission statements you see in other offices. We just know what needs to be done each day and we try to finish it. Being in a central spot like the Trade Towers makes it easy for people to find us, which is helpful. It’s a bit corporate on the outside, but inside we’re just regular people trying to keep things moving. We value the work more than the décor. That’s just how it is for us here in Pune.
