We’re based in 505 B Budhwar Peth, right inside Nityanand Market. If you know the lane opposite Dena Bank, that’s where you’ll find us. Budhwar Peth is always buzzing with people and carts moving stuff around. Our shop is just like the others nearby, filled to the ceiling with stock. We deal with a lot of different items, so there’s never a dull moment. We spend the morning unloading crates and the afternoon helping customers who squeeze into the shop. It’s a tight space, but it’s efficient for what we need. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. We’ve been in Nityanand Market for a long time. It’s the kind of place where you learn to work fast because there’s always someone else waiting. We don't have much of a back office, just a small stool and a table where we do the bills and keep our records. Sometimes the heat in the market gets a bit much, so we keep a couple of small fans running all day. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just buy and sell and make sure the customers get what they came for. It’s a simple business model. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Word of mouth works best for us in a place like this. You just show up, do your work, and go home when the shutters go down for the evening.
