Krish Developers is based at Chandigarh 701 in Rasta Peth. It’s an interesting spot because Rasta Peth is such an old and established part of the city. Our office is up on the seventh floor, so we get a decent view of the rooftops and the narrow streets below. Being in an older area means we have to deal with different kinds of challenges when it comes to developing new projects. The space is usually filled with the sound of the city coming through the windows. We’ve got desks littered with blueprints and old coffee mugs. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with architects and the municipal corporation to get things approved. It can be a real grind sometimes, with a lot of waiting around for signatures. We don't put on any airs here. If someone comes in to talk about a project, we just sit down and go through the numbers and the plans as they are. There are always unexpected issues, like plumbing problems in an old building or materials being out of stock, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We’ve been in this business long enough to know that things rarely go perfectly. We just keep showing up and pushing the projects forward until they are finished. It’s a lot of small steps that eventually lead to something being built for the people here.
