Kran Rader (A Division Of Wifpl.)

We are located over in Sunita Nagar, right near the Tata Gard Room in the Kharadi area of Pune. It’s a bit of a busy spot these days with all the construction going on around Chandannagar. Our office is a division of Wifpl, but here on the ground, it’s just us handling the day-to-day stuff. The space is functional. We have got some heavy equipment and a lot of tools lying around because that is the nature of the work. It is not the kind of place where you worry about getting a bit of grease on your shirt. We start early, usually before the sun gets too high, because the heat in Pune 14 can be something else. The local tea stall is where most of our big decisions get made during the break. We don't use much fancy language here. If a job needs doing, we just figure out how to get it done with what we have. The floors are concrete and the walls are a bit scuffed from moving things in and out. It is an honest living. Sometimes we stay late when a project is behind, but nobody complains much. We just put on the radio and keep going. It’s a loud, busy place but it feels like home to us. Most of the guys have been here for years, so we know how each other works without even talking. We just keep our heads down and work hard.
