Our branch of K.Raheja Corp Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Adarsh Colony, over in Tingrenagar. If you know Pune, you know Kranti Chowk can get a bit chaotic, but once you turn onto Road No. 1, things settle down a little. We are at building 161/29. It’s a pretty standard spot, nothing that would win an award for architecture, that's for sure. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we’ve been too busy to get around to it. Inside, it’s mostly just us trying to keep things organized. There are some plants by the window that mostly look a bit sad because we forget to water them some days. We have a small kitchen area where the kettle is always running. Everyone brings their own tiffin, and the smell of various lunches fills the room around one o’clock. It is a decent place to work. We don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts you see on TV. It’s just rooms and hallways. Sometimes the internet acts up when it’s windy, which is frustrating, but we manage. We’ve got a good mix of people here, some who have been with the company for years and some new faces. We don’t bother with fancy meetings; we just talk over the partitions. It’s practical and it works for us. Being in the 411015 pin code area means we get a lot of local stuff happening nearby. It’s homey.
