We’re based out in Nigidi, specifically on Plot 255 in Sector 24 of Pradhikaran. It’s a decent area of Pune, a bit away from the main chaos of the city center. Our office is where we handle a lot of the technical accounting and consulting work. It’s a straightforward setup. We have a few rooms filled with desks and people trying to make sense of complicated tax laws. The neighborhood is mostly residential and quiet, which is good when you need to concentrate on long columns of numbers. Most of us have been working here for a few years now. We know the local shops and where to get the best snacks in the afternoon. The office isn't anything you’d see in a magazine; it’s just a place where work happens. We deal with a lot of different clients, mostly people from the nearby industrial zones who need their books looked at. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to emails. Every now and then, we have to travel out to a client's site, but mostly we’re right here in Pradhikaran. It’s a steady job and we have a good group of people. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate slogans on the walls. We just have our calendars and our to-do lists. It’s honest work and we try to do a good job of it every day. We usually keep some spare chairs around for when people drop by unexpectedly.
