Indus Trade

You can find Indus Trade over at the Shubhankar Apartment on D.P. Road in Kothrud. We are at A-15. It is a bit of a different setup because it is an apartment building, but we have turned our space into a proper office for our trading business. Kothrud is a nice area, usually pretty busy with students and families. We spend our days on the computer and the phone, tracking down goods and talking to various suppliers. It is not as gritty as a factory floor, but it is still plenty of work. We started out with just one desk and a very slow internet connection years ago. Things have improved a bit since then. We handle various types of trade, mostly focusing on connecting buyers with the right products they need. Sometimes it is stressful when a shipment gets delayed at the border or the docks, but we deal with it. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the ropes. Our office is usually full of samples and brochures that we haven't had time to file away properly. We are not looking to be the biggest company in Pune. We just want to do a good job and make enough to keep going. If you drop by, we might offer you a cup of tea if the kettle is working that day. It is a relaxed environment, but we take the business seriously once the phones start ringing. D.P. Road is a good place to be.
