Art Wood

Art Wood is based in Kothrud, right in Purva Apartment. We are in Flat No. 3 on the ground floor. A really easy way to find us is to look for the Telephone Exchange, as we are directly opposite it in Bhusari Colony. Kothrud is a busy part of Pune, but Bhusari Colony has its own quiet corners. Our office is quite simple. Since we deal with wood-related items, there’s often a faint smell of sawdust or polish in the air, even though we don't do the heavy cutting right here. It’s more of a place where we handle the artistic side and the sales part of things. The flat is small and cozy. We have some samples of our wood work on the walls and a few desks for the staff. The ground floor location is great because we don't have to deal with elevators when we have small deliveries. Outside, you can see people going to the exchange or walking around the colony. We’ve been here in Purva Apartment for a good while, and most of the locals know us by now. We aren't trying to be a big corporate entity. We just like working with wood and making sure our pieces look right. Most days involve sketching designs and talking to clients about what they want. It’s a modest setup with just the basics needed to run the business. We keep our hours regular and just try to do good work from our little spot in Kothrud, usually finishing up around six.
