Located over at No. 1/4 Shiv Complex in Kondhwa Budruk, our office is usually a bit of a chaotic mess. We have wires running across the floor and different parts of machines sitting on the desks. At Rnd Automation Pvt. Ltd., we spend a lot of time staring at screens and then getting up to tinker with some hardware that isn't behaving. The Shiv Complex is a busy place, so there’s always people moving around in the hallway. Our space isn't very big, so we all sit pretty close to each other. It gets quite warm in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows, and our small AC unit struggles to keep up with all the heat from the computers. We usually have a stack of empty coffee cups and snack wrappers near the sink. Sometimes we spend hours trying to fix one tiny bug in a system, and the mood gets a bit tense, but then someone tells a joke and we're fine. We don't really have a receptionist or anything like that. If the door bell rings, whoever is closest just goes and opens it. We keep our tools in a big blue chest that’s missing one of its wheels. It’s a practical setup, meant for working rather than looking good for visitors. Most of our day is just trial and error until things finally start moving the way they should. We keep a whiteboard on the wall where we scribble ideas, but mostly it just has someone’s grocery list.
