If you are looking for us, we are up on the 4th Floor, right above the Rupee Co-Op Bank in the Premnagar Branch area. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we’d like. Being near City Pride means there is always a lot of traffic on Pune-Satara Road, so the noise from the street usually drifts up even this high. Konark Filters Pvt. Ltd. isn’t a massive place, but we make use of the space we have. Most mornings we spend some time just getting the windows open to let some air in before it gets too stuffy. The bank downstairs always has a queue outside, and sometimes we see the same people waiting there every week. Our desks are piled with papers and there’s always a box or two sitting in the hallway that needs to be moved. It feels like a typical office where people just work and talk about what they had for lunch or how the commute was. Sometimes we look out over the road and watch the buses go by during our breaks. It’s a decent spot to be in, even with the busy Pune-Satara Road right there. We’ve been at this 4th-floor location for a while, and the walls are starting to show a bit of age, but it’s home for us during the day. We just keep our heads down and handle the filter business as it comes.
