Komica Elevators

Our office is tucked away in Choice Lane, C/8, over in Kondhwa Khurd. Komica Elevators isn't a massive corporation with a glass building. We are just a small team working out of this space. Most of the time, the guys are out on-site fixing cables or checking control panels in different buildings across the city. The office here is where we keep the spare parts, the tools, and all the paperwork that comes with maintaining lifts. It’s a bit cramped with all the motor components and circuit boards lying around. You might see a few elevator doors leaning against the wall waiting for transport. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating repairs. Elevators are finicky things, so there is always something needing attention. When we are back at the shop in Kondhwa Khurd, we are usually just prepping for the next day's rounds. It is a quiet lane for the most part, except when we are loading up the van. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. People mostly find us by word of mouth or seeing our name on a service sticker inside a lift. We just focus on the technical side of things and try to keep everything moving. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We have been at it for a while and the office shows it with its stacks of manuals and grease-stained desks. Most of our lunch breaks are just quick snacks between service calls.
