At Kolte-Patil Developers Ltd., we have our main workspace at 22 Indira Nagar Co Op Hsg Society. It is right off Senapati Bapat Road, just behind the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan building in Pune 16. The office is basically a flat that we’ve used for years to keep our files and host small meetings. It’s a quiet area because it’s a residential society, so we try to keep our voices down and not disturb the neighbors. Most days, you’ll find two or three of us here answering calls and checking on site schedules. It’s not the kind of place with a big sign or a lobby, so you have to know where you are going. We like it here because it feels like a real part of the city, not just some sterile office park. There is a small kitchen where we make coffee and tea throughout the day. The windows look out onto some trees, which is nice when things get stressful. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and contractors. Every now and then, the power cuts out, but we just wait it out or work on paperwork. It’s an easy-going environment where we just focus on getting the day's tasks finished. We’ve been part of this community for a while and it’s a good spot for us to keep things moving for the business without any unnecessary fuss.
