Kohinoor Auto Spares sits right on the Old High Court Lane in Nana Peth. If you know the area, you know it is filled with shops like ours, but we have been at this particular spot for a long time. We mostly stock parts for older models and some of the newer ones too. The shelves are made of heavy metal and they are completely loaded with gaskets, spark plugs, and brake pads. It is not the neatest place you will ever walk into. There are boxes everywhere and sometimes we have to move three things just to get to one part at the back. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us and the inventory. Most of the mechanics from around Nana Peth come to us when they are in a hurry. We know which parts work best for which engines because we have seen it all over the years. The counter is worn down from people leaning on it while we look through the old catalogs. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic on the lane outside, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We don't make a big fuss about things. If someone needs a specific bolt or a cable, we go find it. It is a simple, honest way to make a living, and we are fine with that. It’s just how things are done here.
