We are located over in Clover Village, which is a nice little corner of Wanworie. It’s a bit quieter than the main roads, which we like because it gives us some room to breathe. The shop is filled with various wooden pieces we’ve put together or brought in. Some days it smells strongly of sawdust and other days it’s more about the polish and finish. We spend a lot of time just moving furniture around to make space for new things coming in. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to helping someone load a table into their car. We’ve had neighbors from around the village drop by just to see what’s new or to ask if we can fix a wobbly chair leg. We don’t have a massive corporate setup; it’s more of a local operation where we know a lot of the faces that walk through the door. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the paperwork because we’re busy in the back with the tools. That’s just how it is when you’re working with your hands. We like being part of the community here in Wanworie. People know they can just stop in and have a look around without anyone bothering them too much. It’s a practical kind of place where we focus on the wood and making sure things are built to last for the families who buy them.
